Close, But Not Yet With Red Team

For the third time in a row, we suffered a loss. This time around, we faced the red team. We played our hearts out against them but lost by a score of 27-25. This time, I only made a free throw and a 2 pointer. With a record of 0-3, we might not have a chance of winning at all. If our team made the easier shots and made smart passes, we could have one. I take a part of the blame. I made some bad plays. Maybe I took a bad shot or skipped a perfect pass. Next week won't be easier. The competition will heat up along the season. With only four games left, we have to finish strong.

Yet Another Loss

This week, we faced the mighty purple team. I was out of the game though. Bad fever and major headaches made me stay home. My teammate told me we slipped away with the score at 16-9 with the purple on top. I wished I could go to support them and watch, but I couldn't. Luckily, the loss wasn't as bad as the game with the orange team. We did pretty good. Just fell behind by 7 points. Not much to say here, the purple team just out-played us.

A New Star is Coming

Throughout my life, I've been dreaming of representing my home country in the Olympics. Basketball is my game and I've been practicing as much as I can. At school, I used to start recess basketball leagues. My team came close but we lost in the finals. We did good though. My favorite team in the NBA is the Boston Celtics. They have a lot of stars on their team. They have Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Rondo and other stars. Unlike most players, I'm strong with my left. My right hand looks pretty bad. Some things I need to practice on are maintaining the dribble, shooting free throws, and not letting the defense steal the ball. Other than that, I'm good. Other than the Olympics, I wish on getting in the NBA All-star game when I grow up. I want to show the world my skills. With some practice. I could be the next Michael Jordan. Hehehe!

Tough Loss Against Orange Team

The season kicked off with a bang as each team matched up to play each other in game 1.

With a score of 34-6, there was no way my team could possibly feel good. We obviously got creamed by the skilled orange team. The opponent just got the better end of the stick. Sadly, I didn't manage to score a basket at all. We were lucky we at least scored. The orange team had the toughest defense I had ever seen! The players were all bigger than us so we didn't have a chance. The season started off bad for us but like every coach would say, were going to keep our heads high. Next week, we are going to need to be aggressive and play smart.
